Julián López is an attorney with over ten years of experience in civil, commercial, agrarian, and administrative litigation. He advises individuals and companies, both Mexican and foreign, before local and federal courts.

He has worked with clients in sectors such as food and beverages, oil & gas, banking, cybersecurity, real estate, advertising, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and entertainment. In addition to litigation, he provides guidance on negotiating and drafting contracts and other legal documents, drawing on his litigation experience.

Additionally, he has experience in both public and private conciliation procedures. He has successfully represented clients in disputes against federal government entities and state governments, particularly in administrative, commercial, and amparo matters.

Julián obtained his JD from Escuela Libre de Derecho, with a thesis proposing a constitutional amendment in civil procedural law. He also completed a specialization in Tax Law at the same institution.

He is a member of the Mexican Bar Association (Barra Mexicana Colegio de Abogados), mainly attending sessions related to civil and constitutional law.

Represented a oil & gas company to enforce rightsofway for infrastructure projects valued at 1.396 billion dollars.

Assisted a pharmaceutical company in reversing an adverse ruling related to unfair competition, amounting to 18.5 million pesos.

Successfully defended a oil & gas company in an amparo proceeding, enabling the collection of an 8milliondollar letter of credit previously suspended by a preliminary measure.

Achieved a favorable and final judgment for a natural gas transportation company, confirming the establishment of a legal hydrocarbon easement under the Hydrocarbons Act.

Represented a client against a bank that wrongfully paid a third party, directly harming the client’s assets, successfully recovering the improperly disbursed funds.

Obtained amparo judgments against regulations in the energy sector, successfully challenging regulations.

Successfully represented trusts in the recovery of rental payments, achieving settlements prior to exhausting lease litigation.

Actively participated pro bono in representing the Mexican Bar Association in a amparo case, compelling Congress to issue the National Civil and Family Procedures Code.

Provided pro bono assistance to a former public official, nullifying an administrative liability exceeding 44.8 million pesos.

Successfully defended a construction company against a claim of 10.5 million pesos, resulting in dismissal of the claim.
